About NuvolaOps
Nuvola is Italian for cloud.
NuvolaOps exists to make the cloud feel like fair weather: predictable, understood and nothing to worry about. It’s a small, senior practice: I’m Daniel, and I’m the one who does the work.
Enough experience to know when the fashionable choice is the wrong one.
The short version
I’ve spent more than twenty years building software and the infrastructure under it, for startups and established companies, in all sorts of situations and with all sorts of tools. I love hard problems and new technology.
Most of my career has been in software engineering, across the full stack, with a soft spot for backends and databases. Over time the work moved down the stack into DevOps: infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, observability and the developer processes that make teams faster. Most of it has been on AWS, with an emphasis on containers, scalability and cost, and lately on putting AI to work where it genuinely helps.
When you work with NuvolaOps, you work with me directly. No account managers, no hand-offs to a junior team.
