Daniel Baldwin

I have nearly 20 years experience in building software and infrastructure in many different situations and with many different tools. I love solving really hard problems and learning new technologies. I really enjoy pushing myself to do more and do it better. However, I have enough experience to know when it is the right time to do or not do something, and that sometimes other factors are more important than what things are “in” at the moment.

I have spent most of my career as a software engineer. I have worked on the full stack but I really love working on the backend and with databases. More recently I have put a focus on DevOps and working with infrastructure as code. I have also spent a lot of time building out better processes for developers like CI/CD pipelines. I have spent a majority of my time in AWS with a focus on Docker, scalability, and cost savings.

I am very passionate about what I do. I am always looking forward to new challenges and chances to learn.
